I deeply appreciate Dave's CSP approach and have recommended his materials to many folks both in my office and in my training programs.

When psychiatry, followed by psychology, sold their souls to the pharmaceutical industry and pledged their allegiance to the notion of "chemical imbalances" of the brain needing/requiring "chemical balancers"--pills, Dave Stein refused to go along. He refused to countenance or be a part of this brazen, evil assassination of all human character. As an outlier, finding truth in a lonely place, and, as a healer, true to his patients and their families, he has been attacked by psychiatry and psychology-turned-predator-for-profit.  Through all of this, David Stein has stood true to science, truth, and to his patients. I am proud to be an outlier with, and a  friend and ally of, Dave Stein's.

I have found Dr. Stein’s Caregivers Skill Program (CSP) to be a highly effective tool for helping children and families change behaviors. The CSP helps the adults in charge learn how to teach a child to pay attention and take control of his or her life, without drugs.

The information contained in Ritalin is Not the Answer is a must-have for adults working with children and families who are dealing with the adverse affects of inattentive and manipulative behaviors.

Dr. Stein's Caregiver's Skills Program has proven to be an effective alternative towards helping families address problematic behaviors, rather than resorting to dangerous chemical restraint which only masks the problem.

I have found that this program (CSP) not only helps to target these problematic behaviors but also strengthens the family unit and bond, and brings more tranquility in situations where family life appears as a 'civil war.'

For one thing, Dr. Dave is a great guy. What you see is what you get. For another, he's a great Christian man of strong faith. For yet another, he's a man of principle who has dedicated his life and work to the betterment of the lives of America's children. What more can I say? Oh, yes, he's got a great sense of humor.

When my son was in third grade, the school wanted him tested for ADD/ADHD. We were given a questionaire to fill out, and so was the teacher. From the results, the pediatrician diagnosed our son as ADHD and gave us a prescription for medication. We did not want to use the medication, but the teacher said how much better he was doing. In the meantime, I was researching alternatives and found Dr. Stein's book Ritalin is Not the Answer. We put his Caregivers' Skills Program into action with all three of our kids and, nearly a year later, we had our son tested again and he no longer fit the criteria for ADHD. Keep up the good work, Dr. Dave!

After years of searching for the truth, I discovered Dr. Stein through John Rosemond. I had read, "Unraveling the ADD/ADHD" Fiasco, but had failed to implement the program effectively.  Halloween of 2005 was yet another disappointing family outing. October 31, 2006, marked the one year anniversary of the day I said to myself, "I need to speak directly to this man, Dr. David B. Stein."

After nearly 15 months of counseling, my son Cole and my family is unrecognizable to friends and family. The CSP program gave my husband and I the permission to disciple our children (all 3 of them), and taught us not to be catastrophic people. This program literally saved our lives and our marriage. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!...and like Fred Baughman, MD. said, "I am proud to be an outlier and ally of Dave Stein."

I thank God that I found Dr. Stein. He has changed our lives so much. I know that God lead me to him to save our little boy that was only three at the time he was taking medication tht could have killed him if it hadn’t been for God allowing me to find him Dr. Stein. Our son was taking Ritalin at the time I called Dr. Stein to see if he would help us because my son was complaining of hurting in his belly and the doctor that gave him this said he would get over it in a couple of weeks and he didn’t he had just stop eating at that point. He was also on a drug called respidal that I had to go to 5 different drug stores to see if any would fill it nobody wanted a part of filling it ( I know why now) I did find one and I was the one in charge of finding the right measurement to give him. Myself not knowing about this drug give it to him and he started acting like a crazy child it scared me to death. The doctor that gave him this said it would take about 7 days to see a change him I never did see the change he kept getting wrose. I saw another doctor and she put him on something else for depression that is when I found Dr. Stein. My husband asked me the day I brought this medication home and told him what the doctor had told me ( that our three year old was depressed) he told me not to give him this medication we were going to see Dr. Stein and so we did. Dr. Stein My husband and myself thank you from the bottom of our hearts and we hold a special place in our hearts for you and your work you do. I will do my part in helping you save other children and their parents like you did us. May God richly bless you, As you have us.
